Bob Crossley was born in Cheshire. He initially trained as a sign writer but put down his brushes to join the R.A.F. After WW2 he studied Art at Manchester Academy of Fine Art.
In 1959 Bob joined the Artist community in St.Ives Cornwall where he be friended Terry Frost and other great Artists active at the time.
