ralph freeman born in London, studied art at harrow school of artand st. martins 1961 - 1965
in 1983 ralph concentrated solely on painting having worked in several creative industries, including as a musician.
in 1988 Ralph freeman moved to st ives cornwall where he was elected to the newlyn and pewith society of artists. in 1996 he was awarded an arts council tenancy of no 6 porthmeor studios st.ives. it was also in st ives that Ralph had a solo exhibition at the tate.
an accomplished jazz musician, ralph established the st ives jazz club.
in 2012 ralph relocated back to london where he set up his studio.
