a sketch of the Danish government steam ship "jylland" dated 24 may 1857 on a sketch book page amongst other pencil drawings of sailing boats, a lightship and another steam ship. framed in a distressed antique frame. It is possible the sketches are by Edwin Weedon 1819-1873 who was a staff illustrator on the London illustrated news and produced an etching of the "jylland" for the publication.
